The Gower Walking Festival returns in 2022, from Saturday 3rd September to Sunday 11th September, with nine days of thirty-three glorious walks!

At the heart of this year’s festival we are celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Wales Coastal Path (WCP). Our first weekend offers the chance to walk the entire Gower section of the WCP, from Penclawdd to Mumbles (over forty miles), in two days. Over the course of the nine days, more than half of our walks will be on the coastal path. Find out more at Wales Coast Path

We are also delighted to be partnering with walk · listen · create with two great opportunities. From August to the end of September, you can submit a poem or flash fiction inspired by your coastal walks to Shorelines (with an opportunity of winning a prize). And during the week of the festival, on Wednesday 7th September, we are hosting with Walk-Listen-Create – Shoreline Stories, an online creative writing workshop with El Rhodes. For more details, go to the separate page from the link above.
