It was a honour to host the inaugural Weaving Water program on Yarun Bribie Island in November. We had over 20 residents coming from the USA, Europe, UAE, Vanuatu, Aotearoa New Zealand and interstate to come together to connect, play and co-create on the themes of traditional knowledge systems, water, place and ecosystems resilience.

To build on this work, Treecreate will be hosting a virtual residency between 11-22 March 2024, culminating in an exhibition at Treecreate Studio on Yarun.

Weaving Water | World Water 2024 explores the concepts of water, relational ways of being and connectivity. It is a virtual residency program scheduled for 11 to 22 March, culminating in an exhibition acknowledging World Water Day, Friday 22 March at Treecreate Studio.

You can read this linked post to submit an EoI for the program.
