Take a walk in the park this Saturday - Wellington

Join us to take a walk in the park to mark the United Nations Day for Older Persons.

 

Where     All Wellington walkers welcome to meet us at the Begonia House, in the rose gardens Wellington Botanic Gardens, with easy access from Wesley Road off Bolton Street, and from Glenmore Street and the number 2 bus. There are no steps but a steep hill descent to the Terrace.

We will take a walk around the rose gardens and down the hill through Bolton St cemetery, looking at historic aspects and enjoying the spring flowers. We will be accompanied by knowledgable folks to comment on places of interest along the way.
