Join us at Cherry Street Pier to mark the completion of the 10th Walk Around Philadelphia and help celebrate JJ’s 1,000+ miles around the city’s edge!

This event is open to all, regardless of whether you’ve explored any of the city’s edge yet!

REGISTRATION for this event via https://FringeArts.com; starting August 8.

Learn about the project, share your stories about the city’s borders, and connect with others who have set out to explore the perimeter of Philadelphia.

This festive gathering will feature interactive stations, community storytelling, special Walk Around Philadelphia swag, & more. It’s free, pay-what-you-wish!

Since its 4-person artist residency origins in 2016, Walk Around Philadelphia has become a pilgrimage experience where hundreds (ranging in age from 12 to 94) have set out to explore the city’s perimeter.

Artist JJ Tiziou will have just completed his 10th walk (1,000+ miles around Philly’s edge!) and this September’s iteration of the walk will facilitate this unique experience of the city for 300+ more participants.

The Walk itself will be accomplished in small groups with ten 10 mile segments to choose from; you are invited to join for a half day, whole day, or multiple segments! Separate registration required via JJ’s website.
