El camino silencioso. Experiencias dentro del arte de las grabaciones de campo recoge la experiencia de trabajo durante un mes en Banff Alberta Canadá. Durante este tiempo se desarrolló un proyecto sonoro titulado Cuerpos sonoros (2020) que buscaba contrastar el sonido del paisaje (utopía) con los testimonios de quienes habitan estos paisajes (cotidianidad). Durante este tiempo se definieron tres fuentes sonoras: 1. lugares (procurando que estuvieran lejos del perímetro urbano y que fueran asequibles a pie) 2. Personas (entrevistas a locales y extranjeros) 3. Otras marcas sonoras (tren, aves, sonidos urbanos).

Dentro del proyecto se articularon los conceptos del paisaje sonoro, la cartografía y mapeo, así como la ecología acústica. Dentro del recorrer ese cuerpo sonoro, la caminata reivindicada como práctica estética en si misma se extendió como acto efímero de permanencia, trazando mentalmente un dibujo sobre los caminos dados en el mapa. A la vez se observaban las señales de otros cuerpos y las propias marcas como puntos narrativos sobre la nieve que se procuraba recorrer en silencio.

La vivencia dentro de este paisaje ocupa las reflexiones sobre el trabajo de campo, el boceto sonoro y encontrar el balance entre el registro (a veces uno quiere capturarlo todo) y la experiencia del momento para uno mismo, sin memoria digital. Los desafíos de caminar espacios solitarios y abiertos a la vida natural en los cuales no solo se advierten dificultades técnicas sino miedos personales. Es acá donde el trabajo de Cuerpos sonoros empieza a cobrar vida en el propio cuerpo, desde el oído como extensión espacial (360°) involucrando las sensaciones acústicas al sentir del resto motor.
